• Sometimes there is simply not enough space on the valve stem of the tire to be able to attach the clamping head and air hose at the service station, and brake discs, sprockets and saddlebags are in the way and prevent the clamping head from being fitted airtight.  
• In this case, the valve stem extension gives you easy access.  
• Simply screw the extension onto the stem, inflate the tire to the correct pressure, remove the extension and replace the valve stem cap.   
• Then simply put the extension in your saddlebag or tool roll for the next time.
